Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health's Specialty Care Transport Unit (SCTU) RN provides high-quality out-of-hospital nursing care, including assessment, triage, and treatment, under Medical Director guidance, to safely transport critical patients.

Requires NJ RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, 1 year ICU or emergency experience, and strong communication; starting pay $48.18/hour with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities to mentor, precept, and participate in outreach activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's of Nursing degree from an accredited school.
• Minimum of 1 year clinical experience in critical care or emergency nursing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office/Google Suite).

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care from initial patient contact until care is endorsed to the receiving facility.
• Practice within NJ Board of Nursing scope and document patient care.
• Maintain licensure, certifications, and continuing education.
• Participate in outreach, marketing, and education activities.
