Job summary

Genesis Consulting Partners, LLC seeks an experienced SAFe Scrum Master for a Washington, DC public sector program. You will coach Agile teams, facilitate ceremonies, and help deliver SAP Public Sector Finance solutions within a SAFe framework, coordinating with Product Owners and stakeholders to align quick value delivery.

The role requires US citizenship and an ACTIVE DoD Public Trust clearance or ability to obtain it, on-site work in DC, and a passion for growth, Lean, and scalable agile

Qualifications

• CSM or SAFe Scrum Master certification required; SAFe certification strongly preferred.
• Experience delivering in SAFe environments with SAP Public Sector Finance domain knowledge.
• US citizenship and active security eligibility are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Coach Agile teams on values, principles, and practices.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure full team engagement.
• Drive continuous improvement and address impediments.
• Manage interdependencies and support release planning with Product Owners.
• Represent teams in Program Increment Planning and large-scale events.
• Shield teams to optimize productivity in a SAFe setting.

Duties andResponsibilities:

The SAFe Scrum Master willassist in providing services to a team that is part of a large program todeliver financial business process solutions/support in SAP Public SectorFinance and Federal Financials.

• Coach teams on Agile values andprinciples
• Drive teams to improve continuously
• Foster teams collectiveresponsibility and accountability
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies(e.g. Retrospective, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Sprint Planning, Refining) andensure full team engagement.
• Anticipate and address teamspotential or existing impediments
• Manage interdependencies betweenAgile teams
• Work with Product Owners tosupport short and long-term release planning and to keep the work backloghealthy and ready for execution
• Shield teams from externalinterference to achieve teams optimal functionality and productivity
• In Agile at scale environments,participate and represent the teams in Program Increment Planning meetings andother equivalent ceremonies

Requirements

MinimumQualifications/Experience:

• General SAFe Agileimplementation experience;
• User Story formatting,prioritization and estimation
• Agile team-level metrics
• Work experience with Scrum
• Experience with Agile workmanagement (AWM) tools including set-up, planning and reporting
• Familiarity with SAFe Agile
• Ability to deliver workingproducts and is responsible for ensuring teams understand and operate inaccordance to Agile values and principles.
• Preferred: Ability to help theteams do this in the Fin business process/SAP technology space
• Preferred: Generalknowledge/background of Financial business process in SAP (any version)
• 3+ years of experience SAPPublic Sector - Preferred
• 1+ years of experience ScrumMaster - Required

Minimum Education:

• High School Diploma/GED –Required
• Bachelor’s Degree – Preferred

Required Certifications:

• *Certified Scrum Master (CSM)from Scrum Alliance or equivalent Certification – Required
• *SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) -Required
• SAFe Certifications – StronglyPreferred
• SAP Certifications – StronglyPreferred
• *Must have either SSM or CSMcertification. SSM preferred over CSM.

Other:

• Must be US Citizen
• Must have Active DoD Public Trust clearance or Ability to Obtain it
• Willingness to be on-site daily (post-COVID)
