Job description

Our client is currently seeking a qualified Scrum Master to join their team and provide end-user support. This role is remote in the EST time zone and the ideal candidate must be located there. Strong preference for candidates located in Atlanta, GA / Charlotte or Raleigh, NC.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Enable transparency, flow, and continuous improvement in multiple initiatives at once
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, reviews, retros)
• Proactively identify and eliminate obstacles that hinder team progress
• Coach the team on Scrum and agile best practices
• Protect the team from distractions and scope creep
• Help improve team performance and flow over time
• Guide agile teams in adopting the Scrum framework to maximize productivity and deliver high-quality products
• Foster a self-organizing and high-performing team environment
• Educate the team and organization on Scrum principles, agile values, and best practices
• Act as a liaison between the team, Product Owner, and stakeholders to ensure goal alignment
• Promote continuous improvement and help the team maintain high velocity
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Kanban, Scrum)

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of working as a Project Manager/Scrum Master within enterprise environment
• Experienced using ServiceNow, AWS, and Microsoft knowledge while using Rally (Agile Tool)
• Scrum Master Certification not required but preferred
• Previous Bank industry experience not required but preferred
• Prior PM / Scrum experience (proven track record)
• Excellent / top tier communication skills

Wage Range

The rate for this position is between $54.00 - $79.20 per hour, unless local minimum wage is higher. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
