Job summary

Lutz in Omaha, NE is seeking a Scrum Lead/Business Analyst/QA to join our delivery team. You will guide Agile ceremonies, refine backlogs, and ensure requirements are translated into clear user stories and acceptance criteria for engineering.

You will collaborate with Product Managers and stakeholders, maintain backlog priorities, and drive high-quality releases through robust testing and defect tracking, with potential growth toward Product Owner.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in Scrum or Agile team environment.
• Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives).
• Demonstrated ability to gather requirements and write user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional documentation.
• Experience working directly with Product Managers and business stakeholders to clarify and prioritize requirements.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills; able to keep a team aligned and moving forward.

Responsibilities

• Lead Agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Remove roadblocks, manage dependencies, and drive accountability to keep delivery efforts aligned, transparent, and moving forward
• Partner with business stakeholders and the Product Manager to gather requirements and translate them into user stories, acceptance criteria, and actionable development work
• Maintain and refine the product backlog, ensuring priorities are aligned with business goals and sprint commitments
• Serve as the primary liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and shared understanding
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and user acceptance testing while performing functional, integration, and regression testing to validate solutions
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution, collaborating with developers to validate fixes and ensure high-quality releases
• Build toward greater ownership of the product backlog and roadmap, with the opportunity to grow into a Product Owner role
• Gain exposure to innovative and cutting-edge technologies across our internal product work

QUALIFICATIONS

• Demonstrated ability to gather requirements and write user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional documentation
• Experience working directly with Product Managers and business stakeholders to clarify and prioritize requirements
• Strong communication and facilitation skills; able to keep a team aligned and moving
• Ability to solve problems proactively, adapt to changing priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
• Working knowledge of technical concepts such as APIs, data flows, or database schemas to effectively partner with engineering teams
• Nice-to-Haves: Scrum certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent); experience with automated testing tools or frameworks; working knowledge of SQL for data validation; exposure to product roadmap planning or backlog prioritization, hands-on QA experience including test planning, manual testing, defect tracking, and user acceptance testing
