Job summary

Insight Global in Hauppauge, NY is seeking an OR Scrub Technician to set out instruments, ensure sterility, position patients on the operating table, and arrange sterile drapes to expose the surgical field.

The role is a 13-week contract with on-site shifts 7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 9:00 AM–5:30 PM. On-call duties include one weeknight and one weekend per month. Qualified candidates will join an inclusive workplace and must have recent OR experience.

• Operating room Scrub Technician experience in a recent OR setting.

Responsibilities

• Set out necessary instruments.

The OR Scrub Technician will be responsible for setting out necessary instruments, ensuring instruments are sterilized, positioning the patients on the operating table, and arranging the sterile drapes to ensure the surgical field is exposed.

Info:

• Shift 7-3:30p or 9a-5:30p

• Duration 13 week

• On Call one night per week and one weekend a month

• Holiday Requirement per department needs.
