Piedmont Rockdale Hospital is seeking a Surgical Technologist capable of scrub duties and partnering with licensed staff to support patient care. The role includes assisting with perioperative tasks, applying critical thinking, and providing care under RN direction.

Candidates should have a surgical technology program background, a GED or HS diploma, and BCLS certification; CST certification is preferred. The position will support diverse age groups in a hospital setting.

Formación

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of Surgical Technology program required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support upon hire required.
• CST - Certified Surgical Technologist preferred.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist required or 3 years of surgical tech experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Performs necessary duties in scrub role.
• Takes on greater responsibility in providing patient care demonstrating a higher level critical thinking and problem solving skills.
• Functions in partnership with licensed staff.
• Performs patient care duties for clients of various age groups under the direction of a registered nurse.

Educación

H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required

Graduate of a Surgical Technology program Required

BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required

CST - Certified Surgical Technologist Preferred
