Job description

We are seeking a part-time Script Writer to help transform deep knowledge of our eCommerce business into a consistent stream of high-quality short-form video concepts and scripts.

You’ll work closely with the founder and marketing lead to turn years of experience, insights, and existing footage into clear, engaging content ideas designed for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

This role is ideal for someone who understands direct-response style content, strong hooks, and how to simplify complex information into compelling short-form scripts.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop short-form video ideas and hooks tailored to an eCommerce automotive seat cover brand, other ventures, and a growing personal brand
• Write concise, engaging scripts and outlines for short-form content (TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.)
• Translate raw business information (features, benefits, customer stories, FAQs, objections, insights) into clear content concepts that are easy to film and edit
• Create content frameworks, repeatable formats, and series concepts to support consistent output
• Collaborate closely with the video editor and marketing lead to ensure scripts are realistic to shoot and edit
• Refine scripts based on performance data and qualitative feedback
• Organize script ideas, content calendars, and tasks within ClickUp
• Use AI tools where appropriate to support ideation, research, and drafting while maintaining a strong human voice and consistent brand tone

Role Details

• Engagement: Part-time (20 hours per week to start)

• Additional work supporting other business ventures and the founder’s personal brand
