Job summary

Staples Promotional Products is seeking a Print Operator in Iowa to support automated and manual printers, ensuring precise placement and high-quality screen-printed items. You will verify artwork reproduction, maintain counts, and assist teammates as needed, following safety protocols.

The role is full-time with a piece-rate pay model connected to output. The ideal candidate brings basic English, reliability, and prior screen-printing exposure, with the ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stay on

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of training, education, and work experience.
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, push/pull and twist.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Basic English language skills (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Print products with accurate placement.
• Set up basic and complex jobs on automated and manual printers.
• Inspect product in screen print for quality.
• Check hard card or repeat samples for correct reproduction of art.
• Keep accurate counts.
• Assist other positions with screen printing process as needed.
• Adhere to all safety procedures while performing job duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay: This is a Piece Rate position starting at $19.75/Hourly

Shift Hours: 6:00am-3:30pm/Monday-Thursday and 6:00am-12:00pm/Friday

What you will be doing:

• Print products with accurate placement.

• Set up basic and complex jobs on automated and manual printers.

• Inspect product in screen print for quality.

• Check hard card or repeat samples for correct reproduction of art.

• Keep accurate counts.

• Assist other positions with screen printing process as needed.

What you bring to the table:

• Ability to support teamwork.

• Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions and write identifying information.

• Demonstrated and proven ability to be reliable with attendance and job related commitments

What’s Needed – Basic Qualifications:
