Job summary

Staples Promotional Products, a division of Staples, is seeking team members for the screen printing production line in Iowa. The role involves printing, setting up jobs on printers, and ensuring quality on each piece. The position emphasizes reliability and ability to follow instructions.

You will work with basic English, read and understand directions, and maintain accurate counts while adhering to safety guidelines. Prior screen-printing experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, push/pull and twist.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Basic English language skills written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Print products with accurate placement.
• Set up basic and complex jobs on printers.
• Inspect product in screen print for quality.
• Check hard card or repeat samples for correct reproduction of art.
• Keep accurate counts.
• Assist other positions with screen printing process as needed.
• Adhere to safety procedures while performing job duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay: This is a Piece Rate position starting at $19.75/Hourly

Shift Hours: 6:00am-3:30pm/Monday-Thursday and 6:00am-12:00pm/Friday

What you will be doing:

• Print products with accurate placement.
• Set up basic and complex jobs on automated and manual printers.
• Inspect product in screen print for quality.
• Check hard card or repeat samples for correct reproduction of art.
• Keep accurate counts.
• Assist other positions with screen printing process as needed.
• Adhere to all safety procedures while performing job duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you bring to the table:

• Ability to support teamwork.
• Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions and write identifying information.
• Demonstrated and proven ability to be reliable with attendance and job related commitments

What’s Needed – Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of training, education, and work experience
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, push/pull and twist
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Basic English language skills (both verbal and written communications).
