Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Screening and Vetting Analyst in McLean, VA to support counterterrorism awareness for the CT community. The role involves researching, drafting, and editing intelligence articles; screening and watchlisting; and providing analytic and mission support across IC databases and tools.

Responsibilities include reviewing visa applicants, identifying gaps in collection, and using analytic tradecraft to reveal links to terrorism. A flexible 80 hours per pay period schedule applies.

Qualifications

• Must have TS/SCI with polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree + 2 years of direct experience.
• Experience analyzing IC data.
• Experience analyzing intelligence reports and cables.
• Ability to be flexible to perform a wide variety of tasks, change focus quickly, and adapt to meet mission requirements.
• Experience with IC tools and databases.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Experience producing finished intelligence products.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to accurately follow SOPs.
• Knowledge of IC organizations, policies, procedures, and requirements.
• Organization skills with strong attention to detail and excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to participate in cross-functional planning, coordination, and task execution situations.
• Experience with biometric and analytical tools and databases.
• Security Clearance Required: TS/SCI with polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Identify and analyze subjects through multiple customer databases and tools to support end users.
• Provide analytic support to screening of foreign travelers to the US.
• Interact with customer personnel at all levels to meet mission objectives.
• Review non-immigrant and immigrant Visa applicants against IC databases for watchlisting.
• Apply analytic tradecraft to evaluate and integrate identity information to reveal links to terrorism.
