Job summary

Mt Pleasant Hardware is seeking an experienced, reliable associate to measure, fabricate, repair and install screening materials for our customers. You will work with a friendly team to ensure high-quality results and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include measuring and installing window screen materials, repairing frames, stocking materials, and maintaining a safe, organized work area while following store procedures. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with the tools and materials needed for measuring, cutting, and installation of screens.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills that positively benefit interaction with internal and external customers.
• Ability to successfully communicate with customers as to the work to be completed and describe our process.
• Ability to operate a variety of light equipment and hand tools according to established safety practices.
• Ability to stand for an extended period of time.
• Organized and efficient with time.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions.

Responsibilities

• Measure and install window screen materials.
• Repairs wood and metal frames as necessary. Fabricates frames as necessary.
• Maintains stock of screen repair materials and orders materials as necessary with the approval of the store manager.
• Maintains a clean and safe work site by following safety rules and procedures and wearing PPE as required.
• Attends staff meetings and training as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
