Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and apply photo emulsion to screens; position film positives and burn-in image(s).
• Tape and block-out perimeter of screen; check screen for pinholes and repair as needed.
• Process screens for reclaim with stripping solutions and wash out emulsion.
• Assemble screens using appropriate mesh and frame size for production runs.
• Check all finished work for accuracy and quality standards.
• Communicate irregularities with printer or assistant printer.
