Brook & Whittle Ltd. is seeking a manufacturing screen print machine operator in Kansas to support high-quality label production across diverse materials. You will read job jackets, set up presses, monitor color accuracy, and adjust drying to ensure consistent results.

Daily duties include printing proofs, troubleshooting issues, and keeping detailed production records. This role requires background in manufacturing, safety awareness, good teamwork, and the ability to meet tight deadlines in a

Qualifications

Must have strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under deadlines.
Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for handling substrates and tools.
Strong teamwork and communication within shift-based production teams.
Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and tolerances.
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and stay on feet for long periods.

Responsibilities

Read the job jacket to verify quantity, tolerance, color sequence, and substrate.
Prepare substrate, screens, ink, squeegee, and supplies for production.
Set up press per guidelines, safety, and job requirements.
Print proof sheets to check press setup, registration, and color consistency.
Secure supervisor approval for production run and adjust drying as needed.
Troubleshoot printing issues to maintain quality and efficiency.
Operate across various substrates and complete production runs.
Complete production records and move finished jobs to the hold area.
