THE ROLE

The Press Operator is responsible for the set-up, trouble‑shooting and operation of the screen print decorating press at Grandstand.

• Prepare, trouble shoot, and operate the screen print decorating press.
• Register multi‑color designs.
• Review customer order paperwork and determine appropriate type of ware to be printed, color of ink to be used, and location of the print on the product.
• Plan work as outlined by the daily schedule.
• Perform basic maintenance on the screen print decorating press.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Management.

The Essentials

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience operating a semi‑automatic screen print press is required.
• Knowledge of basic mathematics is required.
• Knowledge of screen print vocabulary, techniques and processes is required.
• Ability to understand basic written and oral instructions.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Ability to effectively communicate, present information, and respond to questions in verbal and written format, both internally and externally.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
