Job summary

Alliance Construction in Sioux Falls is seeking experienced Scraper Operators to move 500,000 yards of dirt before the snow flies. You will operate scrapers and dozers, perform daily safety checks, and prepare the site to exact elevations with GPS guidance.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license or CDL, plus the ability to work in all weather and handle demanding physical labor. Overtime available.

Qualifications

• Excellent hand-eye-foot coordination to operate multiple controls.

Responsibilities

• Operate twin-engine or single-engine scrapers to load, haul, and dump dirt.
• Perform daily safety checks and maintain equipment.
• Cut, fill, and grade terrain to exact elevations.
• Read grade stakes or GPS monitors to determine dirt volumes.
• Follow safety rules to avoid underground utilities and hazards.
