Job summary

Ralph L. Wadsworth Construction is seeking a skilled Scraper Operator to join our site crews building large-scale heavy civil and highway projects.

If you know your machine, work with purpose, and value teamwork and grit, we want you on our team. You’ll operate scrapers on major projects, perform grading work to spec, and coordinate with foremen and other operators to keep production moving while upholding safety and quality on every shift.

• Proven experience operating scrapers on heavy civil or highway projects
• Strong understanding of grades, cuts, fills, and production work
• Ability to work long hours and adapt to changing site conditions

Responsibilities

• Operate scrapers safely and efficiently on large-scale heavy civil and highway projects
• Cut, load, haul, spread, and finish material to grade and specs
• Work closely with foremen, grade checkers, and other operators to keep production moving
• Perform daily equipment inspections and communicate maintenance needs
• Follow site safety standards and help maintain a clean, organized work area
