Job summary

SA Recycling LLC is seeking a laborer for our Kentucky facility. The role focuses on unloading, material handling, packaging, and basic maintenance in an outdoor yard environment.

You will work with recycling equipment and support the team in safe, orderly operations. Candidates should be able to pass a medical and background check, have a high school diploma or GED (foreign education acceptable), and may benefit from bilingual English/Spanish skills.

Qualifications

• Must pass a medical physical and drug test.
• Must pass a background check.
• Grandfathered employees (pre-April 2014) retained.
• Bi-lingual language skills a plus, English/Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Unloading pallets, boxes, and bundles.
• Material handling/sorting: pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, filling hoppers and conveyors.
• Unpacking boxes, cutting packaging materials as needed.
• Disassembling small equipment and removing bolts and parts.
• Operate yard equipment and direct traffic of yard vehicles.
• Light facility maintenance and housekeeping tasks.
• Dispose of waste materials properly and maintain clean work areas.
• Maintain organization of materials for space efficiency.
