Job summary

Panasonic North America is seeking a procurement and data analytics professional to lead a global procurement model for Panasonic factories. You will manage orders, coordinate with vendors and logistics partners, and drive value-added services to optimize procurement and supply chain efficiency.

The role requires experience in procurement/data analysis, strong Excel skills, and SQL/Python for data cleaning. English communication is essential, with occasional travel as needed.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Statistics or CS preferred; MS a plus.
• 1-3 years global procurement or data analysis experience preferred.
• Must be proficient with MS Office, especially Excel.
• SQL/Python for data cleaning required; Power BI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage global procurement model for Panasonic factories with value-added support and account management.
• Control inventory, delivery, PO status; negotiate with suppliers/customers; coordinate with warehouses/logistics.
• Analyze logistics data to enhance operational efficiency and develop detailed reports.
• Maintain master data (customers, vendors, products) including price, lead times, etc.
• Ensure timely collection of accounts receivable and payment of invoices.

What You'll Get To Do

To build and manage global procurement model for Panasonic factories with value added support & account management from receiving new orders, working with vendors & all parties involved to ensure procurement SCM & customer satisfaction.

Procurement Operation Management

• Control inventory and delivery, checking inventory and balance purchase order status, negotiating with suppliers and customers and cooperating with business associates (warehouse or logistics companies)
• Analyze customer needs and provide value added service to consolidate procurement functions of Panasonic factories to maximize efficiency
• Maintain log sheet and monitor logistics cost and business process cost referring to business rule.
• Proactively communicate and coordinate with warehouses, logistics companies, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth operational processes.

Procurement Data Analysis

• Leverage analytical skills to develop detailed reports and perform data analysis to support cross-functional teams.
• Collect and analyze logistics data to enhance operational efficiency.
• Gather and interpret data in order to solve a procurement problem. (Python Programming language) Especially needs to discuss with Panasonic Business Division.

Admin

• Maintain the computer system master data (customer, vendor & product) including price, minimum order quantity, delivery lead time, etc.
• Ensure timely collection of account receivables from customers
• Ensure timely payment of invoices to suppliers, freight & warehouse companies

Qualifications

What You'll Bring:

Education & Experience

• Prefer 1-3 years Global procurement experience or/and Data analysis experience
• BA\BS in Statistics or/and Computer Science preferred
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field is a plus
• Must be proficient with MS Office suite, particularly with Excel
• SQL/Python for data cleaning is required (Power BI is preferred)
• Experience work in Procurement or/and Logistic and or supply chain industry

Wage Range

The wage range of$65K-75K is just one component of Panasonic’s total package. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives. *The minimum hourly wage for this role will be the greater of the posted range, or minimum wage for the location where the employee will be working, subject to local minimum wage requirements.
