Job summary

Cuckoo Electronics America is seeking a strategic and proactive Supply Chain Leader to oversee end-to-end operations in California. The role drives alignment of logistics, procurement, and distribution with business objectives, develops contingency plans, and leads a team to optimize costs and service levels.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years in supply chain with at least 4 years in leadership, strong data analysis skills, and proficiency with SCM software and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
• 7+ years in supply chain management with 4+ in leadership roles.
• Proficiency in SCM software, ERP systems and MS Excel.
• Strong data analysis and written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business goals.
• Identify, evaluate, and engage suppliers; negotiate contracts and terms.
• Oversee inventory levels to balance availability and holding costs.
• Optimize transportation and distribution networks for timely, cost-effective delivery.
• Analyze data to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for optimization.
• Develop contingency plans to mitigate supply chain disruptions.

About this role: We are seeking a strategic, data-driven, and proactive Supply Chain Leader to oversee and optimize our end-to-end supply chain operations. In this critical leadership position, you will be the driving force behind strategies that align our logistics, procurement, and distribution efforts with our broader business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with overall business goals and adapt to changing market conditions
• Identify, evaluate, and build strong relationships with suppliers and vendors. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure cost effectiveness and high standards
• Oversee inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimizing holding costs and mitigating the risk of dead stock
• Manage and optimize the transportation and distribution networks to ensure timely, accurate, and cost effective delivery of goods
• Continuously analyze supply chain data and metrics to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for process optimization
• Proactively identify potential supply chain disruptions and develop contingency plans to mitigate risks
• Hire, train and manage the supply chain team
• Ensure all supply chain activities comply with legal regulations and company policies, while driving initiatives for sustainable and ethical sourcing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
• 7+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management, logistics, or procurement with at least 4 years in a managerial or leadership role
• Proficiency in SCM software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel
• Strong ability to analyze large datasets, interpret trends, and make data-driven resolutions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary range: $85K~$100K
