Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America is seeking an SCM Coordinator in Sparks, NV. The role supports the Supply Chain Management team, handling data entry, delivery planning, and production coordination within a high-volume manufacturing setting.

You will work a 12-hour shift schedule (Wed–Sat, 7:30 AM–6:00 PM) and must be detail-oriented, with strong organizational and communication skills, to ensure accurate material flow and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

  • Data entry for production consumption, delivery allocations, and raw material deliveries.
  • Verify stock levels and report discrepancies with proper rationale.
  • Coordinate delivery orders based on production plans and capacity.
  • Update hourly delivery allocation rate information with SCM and production teams.
  • Interact with customers for delivery and order requests when needed.

Responsibilities

SCM Coordinator

Shift: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday (7:30 AM - 6:00 PM)

The SCM Coordinator’s role is an integral part of Panasonic’s Gigafactory’s performance. The Coordinator will record, provide information, and maintain control of various production and delivery tasks in support of the Supply Chain Management team while ensuring compliance with established internal control procedures. Additionally, the Coordinator utilizes good interpersonal skills and the ability to multi-task in a high-volume production environment to ensure success is achieved for all production teams.

Essential Duties
  • Data entry relating to production consumption and results, delivery allocations, data entry for raw material deliveries, and adjustments to live production plans
  • Verifies clerical computation against systemic stock levels and adjusts or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies as needed
  • Verifies reporting between systemic & manual delivery results and adjusts or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies as needed
  • Creates Delivery Order requests based on plans, Production Planner guidance, and operational capacity in the facility
  • Creates and updates hourly delivery allocation rate information on guidance SCM, quality, and Production teams
  • May include interaction directly to customer for delivery and order requests as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

  • To ensure the health and safety in the workplace and for the protection of our employees, wearing PPE is a possibility and may include equipment such as a full Tyvek suit, safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, bump cap, and a full hazmat suit that includes a respirator.

Qualifications
Education
  • Basic/Required: High School Diploma or GED
  • Preferred: Associates Degree
Essential Qualifications
  • Must be detailed oriented
  • Willing to work 12-hour shifts, overtime and/or weekends as requested by Supervisor.

  • Ability to multi-task, pay attention to detail and prioritize/manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent organizational skills as well as strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Manufacturing experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
