Job summary

Superior Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing, Inc. is seeking a Scissor Lift Mechanic to join our California team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining scissor lifts and related equipment to ensure safe, efficient operation.

You will perform inspections and preventive maintenance on air compressors, trailers, forklifts, and vehicles, while documenting repairs and parts. Strong safety adherence and English communication are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of recent experience as an equipment mechanic or similar role.
• Education may be substituted with work experience.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and motor vehicle background check.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain scissor lifts to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment (air compressors, trailers, forklifts, and vehicles).
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues accurately.
• Maintain and communicate detailed records of repair, equipment status, and parts needed.
