Job summary

Honu Services seeks a Security Specialist Level I to support day-to-day SCI operations at Fort Belvoir. You will manage SCIF access, conduct indoctrinations and debriefings, and safeguard classified materials per procedures.

Responsibilities include visitor screening, SCIF meeting coordination, inspections, SOP maintenance, and training-tracking support. A high school diploma and 3 years of SSO experience are required along with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Three years of continuous experience on a three-star Command or Agency SSO staff.
• Knowledge of SCI access procedures (e-QIP, DISS, Scattered Castles).
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Screen visitors and control access to SCIFs using local databases and DISS.
• Coordinate meetings and conferences held within SCIFs.
• Conduct SCIF inspections, response tests, and IDS checks.
• Maintain Fixed Facility Checklists and TEMPEST Addendums for each DTRA SCIF.
• Conduct SCI indoctrinations, debriefings, and prescreen interviews.
• Process SCI certifications and manage the SCI nomination program.
