Job summary

Dell seeks a versatile Facility Security & IT Specialist to oversee SCIF security, access control, and baseline IT operations for a federal customer.

You will coordinate facility security, manage IDS, badge issuance, telecom, and IT onboarding for new personnel, while tracking project timelines and vendor activities to keep deployments on schedule.

Requires TS/SCI clearance; on-site five days a week and hands-on experience with security software and IT support in DoD/IC environments.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI and ability to maintain access as required by the program. A polygraph is preferred.
• 3-5+ years of experience in physical security, facility management, or serving as a CSSO/FSO in a DoD or IC environment.
• 1-3 years of practical experience coordinating technical or physical security projects (CAPM, CompTIA Project+, or PMP certification is a plus).
• Hands-on experience administering enterprise access control software (e.g., Lenel, CCURE) and providing basic IT helpdesk or telephony support.
• Deep understanding of ICD-705 construction and operational standards, as well as general physical security threat mitigation.

Responsibilities

• SCIF Operations: Manage daily SCIF operations per ICD-705 and NISPOM.
• Access Control: Administer ACS, badge issuance, IDS, and visitor escort.
• Secure Logistics Support: Oversee physical security for logistics consolidation and rack integration.
• Desktop Support: Tier 1-2 support for unclassified networks.
• Telecommunications: Provision, manage, troubleshoot VoIP and baseline network.
• Systems Onboarding: Set up IT equipment and secure conference rooms; oversee cabling.
• Vendor & Implementation Tracking: Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders.
• Timeline & Resource Management: Maintain project schedules for build-outs and accreditations.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain project docs and budget tracking.
