Job summary

Genmab is seeking a Scientist/Senior Scientist in Clinical Pharmacology & Quantitative Science to contribute pharmacometrics expertise to R&D programs. You will develop and apply population PK, exposure-response, PK-PD, and other models to inform dose selection and trial design.

Role:

The Scientist/Senior Scientist, Quantitative Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics will contribute, under guidance, clinical pharmacology and pharmacometrics expertise to research and development programs, working closely with cross-functional program teams. In this role, the scientist will support the development, validation, execution, and interpretation of population PK, exposure-response, PK-PD, PBPK, time-to-event, survival, and disease progression modeling analyses to inform dose selection, regimen optimization, clinical trial design, and model-informed drug development across Genmab's pipeline.

Work arrangement:

This role offers flexibility to work away from the office for 20%-40% of a typical schedule. Employees may use this work schedule in increments of single days or multiple consecutive days, provided it does not exceed 40% within a 60-day period, and is approved by the hiring manager.

Responsibilities

• Plan, conduct, document, and quality-check routine pharmacometrics analyses under guidance from senior team members.
• Contribute to the development, validation, execution, and interpretation of population PK, exposure-response, PK-PD, PBPK, time-to-event, survival, disease progression models to support dose selection, regimen optimization, and trial design.
• Prepare model code, diagnostics, tables, figures, reports, and presentations in a reproducible and well-documented manner.
• Communicate the pharmacometrics analysis results to program teams to support data-driven decision-making process.
• Contribute quantitative clinical pharmacology and pharmacometrics content for regulatory submissions, including INDs, CTAs, and BLAs, and support responses to agency questions on modeling and simulation deliverables.
• Support the advancement of quantitative clinical pharmacology and pharmacometrics capabilities, including model-informed drug development approaches, tools, workflows, and best practices.

Requirements

• PhD in Clinical Pharmacology, Pharmacokinetics, Pharmaceutical Science or related discipline.
• For Scientist level, 0-2 years of relevant experience; For Senior Scientist level, 2+ years of relevant experience applying quantitative methods to drug development questions; Relevant academic, internship, postdoctoral, or industry experience may be considered.
• Hands-on experience with pharmacometrics and data analysis tools such as NONMEM, Monolix, R, or similar software.
• Ability to work with clinical and nonclinical data, perform model diagnostics, and generate clear, reproducible analyses.
• Understanding of antibody therapeutics development, oncology, or immunology is considered beneficial.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to explain quantitative concepts to multidisciplinary audiences.
• Strong problem-solving skills, scientific curiosity, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced biotechnology environment.

For US based candidates, the proposed salary band for the Scientist level position is as follows:

• $119,680.00 - 179,520.00 USD Annual

For US based candidates, the proposed salary band for this position is as follows:

$138,720.00---$208,080.00

The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as discretionary bonuses and long-term incentives.
