We are seeking Scientist, Method Validation to join IQVIA Laboratories at Ithaca, NY.

Job Summary:

The Scientist, Method Validation is responsible for executing laboratory experiments, supporting method validation activities, and contributing to the development of scientific procedures in a GLP-compliant environment. This role performs laboratory analyses, maintains scientific documentation, and supports project outcomes through accurate and timely reporting of results.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative laboratory procedures in compliance with safety requirements and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
  • Prepare samples, reagents, and experiments for analytical testing and method validation studies
  • Analyze laboratory data and report results accurately and within established timelines
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation according to SOPs
  • Document laboratory procedures, observations, and results in accordance with customer requirements
  • Support scientific investigations, project activities, and laboratory operations under scientific direction
  • Ensure compliance with established quality standards, laboratory procedures, and safety protocols
What We Are Looking For:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in applied or laboratory sciences with direct laboratory course work required
  • 0-2 years direct laboratory experience required
  • Experience following Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Experience operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting laboratory instrumentation
  • Other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree

  • Ability to understand and follow scientific protocols, policies, and procedures while working independently

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $46,200.00 - $96,200.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
