System One, Inc. is seeking a Scientist I for a contract assignment in Ridgefield, CT. The role involves hands-on experimental work in the Spatial Biology Lab, including sectioning FFPE tissue blocks, performing IHC and ISH, and supporting data analysis.

40-hour onsite workweek. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, histotechnology experience, ISH and IHC experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline or equivalent experience
• Histotechnology experience
• In Situ Hybridization experience
• Immunohistochemistry experience
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

Responsibilities

• Duties include performing experimental work in the Spatial Biology Lab including sectioning of FFPE tissue blocks, IHC and ISH in single and multiplex assays, imaging and support with analysis.
• All laboratory experiments will be documented in a laboratory notebook.
• Duties include preparing reagents and keeping the lab clean and organized.
