Eurofins Environment Testing in Pomona, CA is hiring a Scientist I (Microbiology) for full-time, 40 hours per week. The role involves routine coliform and HPC analysis, data processing, and QC tasks in a microbiology lab.

The ideal candidate has two years of college science courses (labs preferred), excellent aseptic technique, strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and in a team. Shifts include regular daytime hours with overtime possible.

Eurofins Drinking Water and Wastewater West, LLC, the largest potable water testing laboratory in the US, has a Scientist I opening at our Pomona Laboratory in the Microbiology department. This is a full time entry level position, 40 hours/week.

Scientistresponsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Routine coliform and HPC analysis
• Quality Control responsibilities
• Perform data process, data entry and written documentation and validation
• Perform client notification
• Media making tasks

The ideal candidate would possess:

• Excellent aseptic technique
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Excellent attention to details
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

• Two years of college level sciences courses preferably with labs
• Weekday/weekend position with possible overtime and holidays if necessary
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
• Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.

The position is full-time, shifts listed below,

• Monday to Friday, 10 am - 6:30 pm w/ rotating weekends and holiday
• Monday to Friday, 11:00am-7:30pm, with rotating weekends and holidays

Training will take place Monday to Friday from 9:30 am to 6 pm.

Compensation Range:$22.20- $27 / hour (DOE) .
