Job summary

Pace® Labs in the United States is seeking a Scientist in our Gas Chromatography department to perform hands-on analysis of environmental samples and contribute to high-quality data used in protecting communities and ecosystems.

You will operate and maintain GC instruments, document results, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards while working in a collaborative lab environment. Pace® offers comprehensive benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or STEM field; equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• We are happy to provide training.
• Must have chemistry credit hours including labs from a college/university.
• Ability to work effectively in a laboratory environment, including standing for extended periods, around odors, and wearing PPE.

Compensation: $20.20 per hour Hours: Sunday through Thursday, 5:00 AM - 2:30 PM The salary range for this position reflects a variety of factors. Compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s geographic location, relevant experience, education, skills, and alignment with internal equity. Market conditions, budgetary considerations, and organizational compensation guidelines may also influence the final offer.

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or other STEM related degrees — or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• We are happy to provide training!
• Must have chemistry credit hours including labs from a college/university.
• Ability to work effectively in a laboratory environment, including standing for extended periods, working around strong odors, and wearing required PPE (lab coat, safety glasses, gloves—all provided by Pace®).
