Job summary

Pace Analytical Services LLC is seeking a PFAS Scientist in the United States. The role involves hands-on analysis in environmental testing with GC, HPLC, and ICP, focusing on air, water, and soil samples. Candidates need a Bachelor's in Chemistry/Biochemistry or related STEM field and willingness to train.

Shift Tue-Sat, 5:00 AM–2:00 PM, with competitive hourly compensation. At Pace, you will contribute to safe, healthier communities by delivering high-quality data and insights.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or other STEM related degrees or equivalent combination
  • Ability to work effectively in a laboratory environment with PPE and extended standing
  • Training will be provided by Pace

Responsibilities

  • Analyze air, water, and soil samples using established chemistry and biochemistry methods looking for environmental contaminants
  • Review and interpret the results from the sample analysis and document procedures and observations
  • Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment and keep organized records
  • Collaborate with team to ensure accuracy and safety in all analyses
