Job summary

L&L Products in the United States is seeking a Scientist to create new technologies and solve problems in structural and environmental sealing materials, applying a technically fundamental approach.

You will lead development and testing protocols, expand expertise across physical, chemical, analytical, or formulation principles, collaborate globally, and contribute to protecting our intellectual property and safety programs.

Qualifications

  • BS/MS/PhD with relevant experience in product development in chemistry or materials science.
  • Experience in adhesive materials and processes.
  • Strong safety and lab practices.
  • Ability to plan and lead development and testing protocols.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • May provide leadership to technicians and specialists. Very competent with self-directed work.
  • Construction, maintenance, and safety responsibilities for laboratory workspace and equipment.

What you will do

Job Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • BS with 6+ years of product development experience, MS with 3+ years of product development experience, or PhD in the sciences, typically in chemistry or material science.
  • Select skills in technical/scientific disciplines, as required.
  • Very adept at maintaining and improving safety requirements in the laboratory and work space.
  • Versed in scientific methods and laboratory apparatus.
