We are a global leader in general‑purpose and high‑performance grades of unsaturated polyester and vinyl ester resins, gelcoats and low‑profile additives for the plastics industry.

Position: R&D Chemist
Location: Dublin, Ohio

Role Overview

The R&D Chemist will develop new resins that address sustainability and regulatory concerns, advancing our understanding of structure–property relationships for resin processing and laminate performance. This role requires close collaboration with scientists, technicians, technical service, manufacturing, sales, and product management teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage and drive short‑term and long‑term projects to completion, including technology development and formulation modifications to meet customer application requirements.
• Collaborate across cross‑functional groups to resolve customer issues, quality problems, and to improve overall productivity and efficiency.
• Effectively communicate progress and outcomes throughout the organization.
• Travel up to 20% of the time as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry (or related field) with a minimum of 3 years industrial experience.
• Strong self‑motivation, organization, persistence, teamwork, and multitasking ability.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective project management skills and experience using statistical experimental design practices.
