Job summary

University of Pennsylvania seeks a Scientific Project Lead to oversee a broad range of research projects within the Perelman School of Medicine in Philadelphia. You will plan studies, write grants, manage operations, and analyze data, coordinating with internal and external collaborators and drafting manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, developing SOPs, mentoring trainees, and presenting results. Strong writing and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts required with relevant experience.
Experience leading research projects and coordinating teams.
Strong communication and manuscript-writing skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts, and 5 to 7 years or 3 to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Position is contingent upon continued funding.

Salary offers are made based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, and in alignment with salary ranges based on external market data for the job’s level.
