Job summary
Scientific Search is seeking a high-level scientific leader to shape tissue-based research programs in Newark, CA. You will connect histopathology, translational biomarkers, and digital pathology to deliver evidence-based recommendations for research teams and customers.
Lead small cross-functional teams, drive assay development and interpretation, and explore AI-assisted image analysis while strengthening SOPs and quality systems.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Pathology or Biomedical sciences with a strong track record in tissue biomarker programs.
- Experience in histopathology, tissue-based assays and biomarker interpretation.
- Ability to evaluate literature and translate evidence into recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Lead histopathology, biomarker and tissue-based scientific programs across projects.
- Research literature and translate findings into actionable recommendations for teams and customers.
- Guide assay development, validation, troubleshooting, and study interpretation.
- Develop quantitative image-analysis workflows and lead cross-functional discussions.
