Job summary

The Fountain Group in East Hanover, NJ is seeking an Associate Scientist to join a prominent client team. You will help develop and optimize cell-based potency assays for AAV and LVV vectors, supporting in-process testing, drug product release, and quality attributes in a GMP/GxP environment.

You will perform experiments, prepare critical solutions, and analyze data while ensuring proper reagent management, aseptic techniques, and thorough documentation in a regulated laboratory setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required.
• Experience with bioassays using ELISA, MSD, high-content imaging, qPCR/DPCR, Flow Cytometry and FACS preferred.
• Experience with AAV, LVV, Lenti viruses or viral vectors highly preferred.
• Cell culture and aseptic techniques required.
• Basic understanding of cell biology, protein biochemistry, and molecular biology required.
• GLP, GMP, or GxP experience required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, qualify, and optimize cell-based potency assays for AAV and LVV viral vectors.
• Support in-process testing, drug product lot release, and quality attribute assessment.
• Execute experiments, prepare critical solutions in research and GxP environments.
• Perform sample testing and data analysis, and support bioassay characterization for regulatory filings.
• Manage reagents, in-process sample handling, analytical support, and assay transfers.
• Document experiments and maintain laboratory inventories.

We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking an Associate Scientist for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in East Hanover, NJ, 07936. Details of the position are as follows:

Job Description

• $35.00- 43.00/hr to start.
• 18- month contract to start with the possibility of extension or conversion based on budget and performance.
• Shift: Monday- Friday, standard day shift, onsite position.
• Position will mainly be responsible for participating in the development, qualification, and optimization of cell-based potency assays for AAV and LVV viral vectors, supporting in-process testing, drug product lot release, and quality attribute assessment.
• Responsibilities also include executing experiments, preparing critical solutions in research and GxP environments, performing sample testing and data analysis, and supporting bioassay characterization for regulatory filings.
• Position will also be responsible for critical reagent management, in-process sample handling, analytical support, assay method transfers, experimental documentation, and laboratory inventory management.

Qualifications
