Forest School is seeking a Technician to coordinate the use of practical resources and facilities and to provide expert technical support across Biology, Chemistry and Physics to meet the science curriculum requirements.

The postholder will work under the Team Leader Technician and senior leadership and will be expected to support across all areas of the Science curriculum. Training and safeguarding responsibilities are integral to the role.

Description du poste

Working under the guidance of the Team Leader Technician, Head of Biology, Head of Chemistry, Head of Physics, and Associate Academic Lead (STEM), the Technician is responsible for coordinating the use of practical resources and facilities and for providing expert technical support, advice, and assistance to meet the practical requirements of the science curriculum. While the postholder may have a specialist responsibility for Biology or Chemistry, they will be expected to provide support across all areas of the Science curriculum as required.
