General Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated middle-level Science educator who is passionate about fostering a safe, welcoming classroom environment so that students communicate innovative solutions and sense-making when engaged in standards-based design. The successful candidate will prioritize relationships, data, and student learning feedback to design instruction that meets the diverse needs of our learners. The successful candidate is collaborative, committed to culturally and linguistically responsive instruction of which their instruction elevates students’ voices and experiences, serious about student formative assessment data, and comfortable taking risks to improve student learning. The successful candidate exhibits a deep understanding of Oregon’s Next Generation Science Standards.
