Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee and administer the established curriculum, adjusting for differences in student learning styles.
• Teach instructional subjects according to Ohio Department of Education guidelines and regulations.
• Implement instructional strategies, materials and activities to meet learning needs and styles.
• Collaborate with special education teachers on student IEPs to ensure modifications are met.
• Create a rich learning environment and manage behavioral expectations.
• Help students assess and enhance their study methods and habits.
• Produce formal and informal testing to evaluate student progress.
• Coordinate and manage extracurricular duties and sponsor approved activities.
• Prepare classroom to aid in physical, social and emotional development of students.
• Maintain communication with parents and fellow teachers.
