While serving in this role, the individual must hold a current North Carolina Professional Educators license for his/her area of assignment. Must hold or be eligible to hold a North Carolina Professional Educators license in Middle Grades Science (6-9).

CLASSROOM TEACHER

Job Description

Job Goals:

To plan, organize, and present instruction and instructional environments that help students learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their cognitive, physical, and social/emotional development in the 21st century.

Performance Responsibilities:

  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners

Reports to: Principal

Term of Employment: 10 Months, unless otherwise specified

Salary: North Carolina Teacher Salary Scale + $2,000 Supplement

Evaluation: Performance will be evaluated in the NC Educator Effectiveness System, in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on evaluation of personnel
