North Scott High School is seeking a part-time Science Fair Coordinator for the 2026-27 school year. The role works closely with the Science Fair Lead to manage the organizational, logistical, and administrative components of student participation in regional, state, and national science fairs.

Responsibilities

• Arranges student accommodations and transportation, manages competition registrations, and coordinates travel and participation requirements for students who advance to the National Science Fair.
• Reviews and proofreads student application materials for accuracy and completeness, organizes the Scientific Review Committee (SRC) process, and assists students with research for bibliographies and literature reviews.
• Supports students in organizing content for their research posters, proofreads completed posters and presentation materials, and helps ensure competition requirements and deadlines are met.
• Prior to travel, the coordinator oversees packing and preparation, ensuring that project materials, presentation supplies, documentation, and other necessary items are organized and ready.
• Provides essential logistical and academic support to both the Science Fair Lead and participating students, helping ensure the program operates efficiently from initial registration through competition.
