Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a timeline for project selection, development, submission, judging, and recognition.
• Communicate science fair requirements, guidelines, deadlines, and expectations to participating schools, teachers, students, and parents/guardians.
• Provide guidance and support to teachers and students regarding science fair project development.
• Assist students in developing appropriate scientific questions and topics for investigation.
• Provide guidance on hypotheses, variables, experimental design, procedures, observations, and data collection.
• Encourage students to use appropriate scientific methods and inquiry processes.
• Provide guidance on organization, analysis, and interpretation of data.
• Assist students in developing conclusions based on evidence collected.
