Program Overview

Eight‑week paid summer program, administered by the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) on behalf of the U.S. Navy, offers academically talented high‑school students apprenticeships in Department of Defense laboratories.

About 300 placements are available across more than 38 laboratories nationwide.

Eligibility & Requirements

Applicants must be U.S. citizens who have completed at least grade 9.

Women are strongly encouraged; the program is women‑only.
