Job summary

ARMADA, Ltd. is seeking a Security Specialist to support Special Security Information Systems (IS) and COMMSEC duties in a TS with SCI eligible environment. You will ensure compliance, manage certificates, and report incidents to the ISSM.

The role requires IAM Level I certification, RMF familiarity, and DoDI 8510.01 expertise, with 5+ years in cybersecurity or a related field. A bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity is preferred.

Qualifications

• IAM Level I certificate in accordance with DODM 8140.01.
• Five (5) years practical experience in Cybersecurity, Engineering, T&E or A&A related field.
• OR Seven (7) years' experience without a degree.
• Familiarity with DoDI 8510.01 RMF for IT.
• Ability to follow directions and understand complex regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct compliance checks for SCI accredited IS to ensure proper operation, maintenance, and disposal per security policies.
• Compile certificates and security forms for IS users and provide to Government POC for review.
• Report security-related incidents to the ISSM on a daily basis.
• Conduct periodic reviews of special security IS for compliance with the authorization package.
• Support hardware, software, and firmware reviews as part of CM Boards.
