Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid PA Driver's License required.
• Three years of professional driving experience and a clean MVR.
• Knowledge of safety regulations.
• Able to operate a van and drive all posted routes.
• Complies with drug and alcohol policy and random drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Operate a school van safely and in compliance with Federal and State DOT regulations.
• Follow safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Maintain student order and discipline per MCIU guidelines.
• Map routes using GPS for efficiency.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Communicate with parents/guardians about routes.
• Keep van clean and fueled; report repairs as needed.
• Provide classroom support as needed by programs.
