First Student, Inc. is hiring part-time School Van Drivers in Middle Island, NY. You will transport students to and from school, supporting safe boarding, seatbelts, and orderly loading.

Roles may include field trips and events with training provided. No prior experience required, with expert training to help you succeed as a safe and professional school van driver with First Student across locations in the U.S. and Canada.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B license required or in process
• Experience driving for ride-share/t taxi helpful
• Strong customer service and safety focus

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities
• Supervise boarding/unloading; assist with seatbelts/mobility aids
• Maintain order on the bus to minimize distractions
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of brakes, lights, tires and exits
• Report mechanical issues promptly and keep bus clean
• Follow traffic laws and company safety standards
• Communicate with parents, school staff and dispatch about delays
• Demonstrate leadership and customer service during routes

Now Hiring Part Time School Van Drivers - Middle Island, NY

Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 for experienced credential drivers; 3,000 for new drivers*

As a Part Time School Van Driver, you will play a vital role in your community and the lives of students. You will start students' days with morning pickup before school and transport them safely back home in the afternoon. Additional hours for field trips and special event transportation may be available.

No experience is necessary to become a school van driver! We are here to help you succeed with expert training and guidance to help you become a safe and professional First Student school van driver.

Your day as a School Van Driver will include:

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
