Assisted Transportation in Overland Park, KS is hiring an Aide/Monitor to help provide safe pupil transportation for Shawnee Mission School District. This part-time role offers flexible hours, no weekends, and a supportive team.

Earn $16.50 per hour with paid training, weekly pay, and benefits including vision, dental, life insurance, and an Employee Assistance Program; a sign-on bonus of up to $500 is available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Pass a company-sponsored drug screen, physical exam, and physical duties assessment.
• Pass a company-sponsored Criminal Background Checks, which includes fingerprinting.
• Pass First Aid and CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, unload and secure passengers.
• Push and maneuver wheelchairs on and off the vehicle.
• Follow child restraint procedures and ensure proper seating and restraints.
• Maintain observation and assist students during transport.
• Ensure passengers are safe and not left unsupervised on the vehicle.
• Assist in keeping the interior clean and orderly.
• Assist the driver and route knowledge as needed.
