Qualifications

• Comply with drug-free workplace rules and board policies.
• Meet qualifications per Ohio Revised Code and related rules.

Responsibilities

• Operate the assigned vehicle according to motor vehicle laws and keep supervisor informed.
• Uphold board policies and follow guidelines and procedures.
• Promote a favorable image and support partnerships to enhance operations.
• Practice defensive driving and maintain routes and schedules; safety first.
• Perform visual vehicle safety inspections and report defects immediately.
• Report student issues, protect privacy, and ensure staff/student safety.
• Report road hazards, participate in safety trainings, and fuel/check fluids.
• Attend staff meetings and take responsibility for decisions and conduct.
• Develop rapport and serve as a positive role model; perform other duties as directed.
