The Goddard School of Katy (Cinco Ranch) is seeking an energetic Before & Afterschool Teacher (Floater) to support multiple classrooms during breaks and after-school hours.

You'll float between groups from 3:00–6:30 p.m., assist with lesson planning, activities, and daily routines, and help maintain a safe, nurturing learning environment. Texas licensing requirements, CPR/First Aid, and a warm, patient demeanor are welcome attributes.

Qualifications

• Experience working with school-age children in childcare or educational settings preferred.
• Flexibility to work both morning and afternoon shifts as a floater.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and classroom management skills.
• Must meet Texas state childcare licensing requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• High school diploma or equivalent required; early childhood education coursework a plus.

About the Role:

The Goddard School of Katy (Cinco Ranch) is looking for an energetic and passionate Before & Afterschool Teacher (Floater) to join our dedicated team! In this dynamic role, you'll have the opportunity to float throughout the school to provide support during breaks, assist teachers and classrooms as needed, help with lesson planning and preparation, and participate in staff training and professional development. You will assist with the after-school program from 3:00–6:30 p.m., supporting students with activities, supervision, transitions, and daily routines.
