Job summary

Hendron Lone Oak Elementary School in Paducah, Kentucky is seeking a Student Worker to perform general light utility work, custodial tasks and clerical duties on a part-time basis.

Starting immediately, duties include cleaning, moving boxes, inter-office deliveries, and safe handling of equipment. Candidates should have a high school diploma or be progress toward it, with the ability to follow directions and maintain attendance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED as required by Kentucky law.
• Any combination equivalent to: high school diploma or demonstrated progress toward obtaining a high school diploma, G.E.D. Certificate or demonstrated progress toward obtaining a G.E.D. as required by Kentucky law.

Responsibilities

• Perform general light utility work, custodial services, food services or clerical areas as assigned.
• Clean up area assigned daily including sweeping, wiping, dusting and other general light cleaning tasks.
• Move, open, empty and dispose of boxes and cartons.
• Make inter-office deliveries and perform other messenger tasks as required.
• Use, maintain and store assigned tools and equipment properly.
• Perform clerical functions as required.
• Maintain standard safety practices.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
