Job summary

You will administer medications, respond to emergencies, and collaborate with the principal and families while ensuring immunizations are current. A valid RN license and AZ IVP clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Current registered nurse license.
• Two years of nursing experience.
• Current CPR Certificate.
• Obtain and maintain a valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (AZ IVP FPCC).

Responsibilities

• Maintains health office and health records; reviews immunization records.
• Administers daily medications and treatments under the supervision of the principal and physician with parental consent.
• Provides health care services for accidents and illnesses and documents accordingly.
• Reports attendance and notifies parents, advises principal of absences.
• Administers medications and implements health care protocols as ordered by a physician.
• Notifies and updates parents on health care issues and medical problems.
• Consults with principal on emergency situations and sensitive health matters.
• Performs health screenings such as height, weight, blood pressure, and lice.
• Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.
