Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist for a contract position with a local school community in Alabama. You will support students by delivering therapy and collaborating with educators and families to meet communication goals.

The role requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology and either CCC-SLP certification or eligibility for CFY, along with state licensure or eligibility to obtain.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• CCC-SLP eligibility or CFY eligibility will be considered.
• Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain).
• Experience working with K-12 students preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapy services to students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress, and compliance reports.
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, team conferences, and professional development as needed.
• Educate and consult with teachers, staff, and parents to support student learning and growth.
